Easy battery monitoring via Bluetooth and app

With the intAct Battery Guard you can easily and simply monitor the charge status of your battery. The battery monitor can be used for all 12 volt lead-acid batteries (i.e. wet batteries, EFB batteries, AGM batteries and GEL batteries) and lithium batteries (LiFePO4). In addition to the battery voltage in volts, the voltage monitor also transmits the current housing temperature and uses an intelligent algorithm to calculate the charge level corresponding to the overall condition of your battery. The data is stored on the battery tester for up to 72 days and transferred to the smartphone the next time it is connected.

To ensure you can use Battery Guard as quickly as possible, please note the following instructions:

Install the app and grant permissions

Before you attach your battery monitor to your battery, download the " intAct Battery-Check " app from the App Store or Google Play Store and install it on your smartphone. Don't be alarmed: In addition to the obviously necessary Bluetooth(R) permission, the app also requires your location permission. This is not because we want to monitor you. The app needs this to scan for Bluetooth(R) devices (i.e. battery guards) in your area.

Setting up Battery Guard in the app

After you have successfully installed the app, scan the barcode of the Battery Guard (not the one on your battery) or enter the corresponding serial number manually in the app. This registers the test device in the app and allows you to give each device an individual name. In doing so, you also tell the app the battery type (wet battery, AGM, gel or lithium) and can choose between the values ​​specified by the algorithm or individual battery settings.

Attach the battery tester to the battery

As soon as the app is set up, you can attach the battery guard to your battery. To do this, slightly loosen the terminal screws, place the battery clamps of the Battery Guard between the battery terminal and the screw, and then tighten the screws again. To ensure that your Battery Guard is secure, you can attach it to the battery using the double-sided adhesive pad provided. Please note that you will no longer be able to scan the barcode after this, but you can also find the serial number on the side of the Battery Guard.
